For the Fall 2020 semester, our high school students studied literature in their mother tongue English classes, focusing on short stories. Our Biennio students read two famous American Short Stories: "Rip Van Winkle" by Washington Irving and "Rappaccini's Daughter" by Nathaniel Hawthorne, while the students of triennio began to analyze two of James Joyce's stories from Dubliners : "Clay" and "Eveline."
Putting all of our experience of the short story form in action, we wrote our own short stories inspired by images. A selection of our best work can be found at the links below:
